Troubleshooting

Something not working?

I clicked the bookmarklet and nothing happens

Some sites (notably LinkedIn) have strict content security policies that limit what bookmarklets can read. Try these in order:

Select the job description text on the page (click and drag to highlight), then click the bookmarklet. We'll use your selection — this bypasses almost every page security restriction.
Reload the page once after install. Some browsers cache CSP state until reload.
Install the browser extension instead — extensions run with elevated privileges and are unaffected by page CSP.

The bookmarklet opens Tailor but the job description is empty

We'll show a paste fallback automatically. Copy the job description from the original tab and paste it into the textarea — Tailor will continue from there. If it keeps happening on a specific site, email support@rolewyn.com with the job URL and we'll add a dedicated extractor.

Is this safe? What data does the bookmarklet collect?

The bookmarklet runs locally in your browser when you click it. It only reads the visible job description text from the page you're viewing — it does not read cookies, login state, form fields, or anything outside the job description. The text is sent to Rolewyn only when you trigger a tailor run, through your authenticated session — the same path as if you pasted it manually. See our Privacy Policy for the full story.
